This nice fellow is about 14 months out from his second procedure and looks great. He had significant hairloss, a great donor supply of thick hairs, and underwent a 2700 graft procedure followed about a year later with a 2500 graft procedure. His old scar was excised with the second procedure, thus he has one minimally detectable strip scar in the back, completely covered by his still dense donor region.

A 2 layer trichophytic closure limits scar issues, and dense packing is achieved by the use of custom made 0.7mm blades. This allows for dense placement, and very little bleeding.

Huge cosmetic difference. Looks really nice Dr Lindsey. Would have liked to see what the scars looked like.

Looks really good! Question though! Is he wearing a concealer? Pic 4 looks a little like he has some help from Dermatch or something.

Dr. Lindsey,

I'm sorry that we missed you in Montreal at the annual ISHRS conference. It would have been nice to meet you face to face.

This is a very impressive result. I did however, change the subject to make it more clear to members and guests that this was performed in two surgeries.

Nicely done!

Bill

Thanks Bill,

I have never been to Canada and my son is playing football, is undefeated, and has sacked the QB in all 3 games of the season; thus I couldn't leave to go to the meeting.

No, he is not using concealer. You can see straight through to his scalp in picture 4. If you look at picture 7 you can see straight through the hairline to the frontal third of the head where there is obviously no concealer.

What you are seeing is the result of thick caliber hair and dense pack surgery. Nothing more.
