Pat,
Thanks for the detailed account of your visitation to Dr. William's clinic. From the photos presented, I agree that Dr. William's work is ultra refined. Did you also get a chance to take pictures of any of his other patient's that you met that day? I am actually surprised that this particular patient who had surgery that day has a donor supply density of 76 FU per square CM due to its thin appearance. I suppose that's due his hair characteristics being fine and thin - or it at least appears that way from the pictures. Falc

these photos seems seems to be very encouraging for ppl with massive hair loss? this doc seems great.. he seems to have only a small team unlike some other docs who have soccer team to assist..is the team size the reason for the smaller graft session in a day?? couple of months here.. i still got only silly questions to ask..sorry abt tat..

315,
The size of the staff is a definite reason for smaller sessions. When I was at Shapiro's there were 10 employees cutting and inserting my grafts. They are obviously capable of larger sessions. In stating the above however doesn't mean that I endorse too large of a crew as I would rather have 4 extremely skilled employees than 4 skilled, 4 average and 2 subpar. There are always going to be those better than others. For example, when I play hockey I would much rather have 9 of our best players show up than all 15. The talent naturally is watered down. It is a matter of finding balance and incorporating endurance. NN |
