Dr. Rosanelli has extensive experience in performing hair transplantation and adopted the use of microscopes for graft trimming early on in the mid nineties. He has been performing hair transplantation exclusively for almost twenty years and has attended every meeting of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) since the late nineteen eighties. Dr. Rosanelli is Board Certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.

He has developed and retained a large and experienced staff of ten medical technicians. While such a large staff could perform surgeries in excess of 3,000 grafts in one session, Dr. Rosanelli believes that sessions under 3,000 grafts provide his patients with optimal graft survival and growth.

He removes the donor strip using a single blade and then does a double layer closure so that the internal sutures reduce tension on the skin level external sutures. He believes this produces a minimal donor scar. Dr. Rosanelli uses relatively small blades that create incisions as small as 0.8 millimeters.

As a sole practitioner, he takes pride in providing his patients with personal attention and his personal cell phone.

On the day of my visit Dr. Rosanelli and his staff implanted 1,660 follicular unit grafts into the thinning crown of a new patient.

Based on the surgery I observed, he and his staff are doing high quality follicular unit grafting and work harmoniously together. I suggest that patients seeking high quality follicular unit grafting in the bay area consider consulting with Dr. Rosanelli.

Pat,

That's for a terrific writeup and detailed review of Dr. Rosanelli's clinic. I've had the pleasure of speaking with Sophia and she will be taking some time over the next week or so in posting patient photos in the "hair transplant patient photo albums" section for review on our community.

I look forward to learning more about their clinic and seeing their patient results.

Best wishes,

Falc

I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed by the photos shown. Perhaps we need a higher resolution of photos posted (closer up, etc.), but the donor scar looks curved / ridged and the recipient area doesn't look like 1660 grafts. Was the photo taken at the completion of it all?

Not trying to be harsh, but I'm just commenting on how it appears to me.

M&M,

The immediately postoperative picture unfortunately was not taken at completion which is why it doesn't appear to contain all 1660 grafts. I have spoken with the clinic and am working on getting the completed post-surgical photo.

Thanks for your interest.
