This photo album is of forum member Troy, who recieved 2,376 grafts from Dr. Paul Rose on December 1, 2005.

I went in this morning, traffic was aweful, it took me hour and 20 minutes to get 15 miles away to shapiro office. Anyway I love the staff they have great chemistry there. They cut my hair, and I love my new dew. It wasnt painfull. the hardest thing about the whole day is sitting in that chair all day, we finished at 7pm. My expirence was like others who have posted on here. I was really amazed at the technitians, At one point I have 7 working on me. I was surprized at how much work is behind follecular hts, Theses ladies busted there tails, They were all so sweet and fun to talk with. I have been taking pics after I go back tomorrow for my wash I will post more pics. because my results are a ways out I will only comment on what I know, and that is shapiro group gives first class service and has a first class team. Dr rose was the doc. I will post my progress. oh also I drove home form the surgery and immedaitly jump bac into being a daa and gave my boys baths and put all three kids to bed. Tommorow I have a slumber party at my home, and feel as long as I wear a hat everything will be fine. If anyone has any questions just ask.

Troy -

We're in the same boat. Great hairline, but lot of thinning on top behind hairline. It should be very interesting. I am really curious how much shockloss will be a factor for you. Anyway not to worry, you're in great hands.

Troy,

Yeah I already had one procedure to recover the crown. It was 1500 grafts by Dr. Keene. You can find my pictures on this website. It's been a year and I am happy with the procedure, but not as happy as I like to be. I am planning my second procedure to give final touches to my crown, and add more hair in frontal 1/3. I am shooting for Feb '06, and I have narrowed it down to Dr. Rose, Dr. Keene and Dr. Wong. Looking foward to see you progress.

kg007,
I emailed my after pics to robert, I dont know how to shrink them down, So Im hoping he can put them on here. I Will also take pics about 10 days post op. From the docs you are thinking of they have all had great reviews. I will give my opionion once I am all healed and the crop comes in. I believe the docs job is graft placement, hairline, and making the donor area undetectable. The majority of the work part cutting grafts and placing them is up to the techs. I went with shapiro, and believe any docs from there you will get great tech support, I was most impressed thus far with how hard and committed and kind they were.
