I am only 24 and wondering if I should try transplants. I have a receding hairline and up until now the hair was very thick...just farther up on my head. Is this a good/feasible idea for someone as young as me?

before you go for surgery, you should be already using Propecia and Minoxidil. Try that for at least a year, even two years, before you start to think about surgery.

Are you already on Propecia? Even if you decide to get a HT, you should keep using it. You want to hang on to all of your remaining hair.

Surgery is a last resort for guys who are significantly bald, and who didn't get results from drug treatments.
