4,700 grafts in one sitting using ultra refined, dense pack, lateral slit, strip method with tricophylic closure.

He is 6 month from his procedure and as such is only 50% grown.

This patient had used a comb-over for many years and finally decided it was time to have a hair transplant. He does not take any hairloss medication.

He had the following postive attributes for hair transplant surgery:
1. A large donor area
2. A dense donor area
3. A thick caliber of hair
4. Flexible donor area
5. Thick skin in donor area
6. Long grafts
7. White hair with white skin. Because there is a low contrast between hair color and skin he appears to have more hair because the eye has a hard time telling where the hair ends and the skin begins.

Extremely impressive looking, especially in light of it being but 6(!) months in; the hair-look that he is already starting to sport *really* suits him well, imo.

I'm pallid like the moon; perhaps I'll dye my hair white to boost my illusion of density 20.5%.

very nice, cant wait to see in an additional 6 months.

what exactly are the benefits of having "long grafts" and "thick skin in donor area"---less scarring with respect to the latter?

Dr. Feller,

Excellent use of pictures and details of this patient's case. This gives our members a true understanding of the patient's situation and presents an accurate representation of the results. If you have any immediately postoperative pictures, this would be icing on the cake!

He looks great for only 6 months. I hope you will come back to post his final result.

Bill
