The problem is that even the most successful independent doctors can not muster up a budget to rival the big chains. That's why sites like this one are so important.

While the big chains can and will own the major internet advertising areas, they steer clear of sites like this one where they have to account for their procedures on a person by person basis.

Thankfully, the population is becoming more accustomed to looking past the glitz of fancy advertisments and almost reflexively look for forums like this one to get the "real" scoop on doctor's reputations and results. This will ever increase as the years go by squeezing out the lower end of doctors and allowing the more conciencious ones to shine.

That's an excellent point...when I first started investigating the HT thing nearly three years ago, I literally had no idea where to start. The only tangible image I had were infomercials, which by definition weren't exactly inspiring...or maybe "credible" is the word I'm looking for.

It was pure Google serendipity that got me to this site, and from there to Dr. Feller...and the real photos and honest accounts sealed the deal.

Great job by Dr. Feller.

Regarding advertising, if the top docs all advertised on TV, they would create such a demand that they could not handle unless they hired extra docs/techs. They would then become in essence "a chain" which I am sure they would not want.

Remember these coalition doctors have ethics. Its not all about the money to them.

The results on this patient really showcase what can be accomplished with state of the art follicular unit grafting techniques, a large number of grafts, and grey hair. The comparison between the before and after photos on the video was a nice touch. This frames his face very nicely and gives him a very natural look. He must be thrilled!

Does your patient have any plans to either transplant into the crown or increase the density that was transplanted? Also, are you using anything special to help your techs visualize the grey follicular units to minimize any tissue loss during the preparation process?
