This article that I found by David Orentreich, MD at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine says that "hair loss can often be stopped on a long-term basis by mixing minoxidil with finasteride and thyroid hormone or another drug that stimulates hair metabolism... rub this three-drug 'cocktail' into his/her scalp every day".

Any thoughts on this from the experts here??

I don't like to play Dr. Wizard and do chemistry experiments on my head. But that's just me.

some guys on here are much more creative and willing to experiment. I have never heard of it. But if there was some permanent cure for baldness we would all know about it.

Remember- there once was a time when we didn't know about Minoxidil; and there once was a time when we didn't know about finasteride.

I just blew your mind!
