sir i m only 23 n my hai have stopd the growth n my head is lookin very bald n i m plannig for my marriage n i m totall depressed coz i may face problem in getting match due to this. so i decided to do hair transplantation but few of my clos doc has adviced me nt to do ht if there are chaces of regrowth of hairs or atleast my remaining hairs start growing i m seriously very confused ur reply wud give me an confidence to go forward with wat treatment weather i sud go wig transplant or sud i start meditation n wat medicines sud i take..... kindly go through ma pic n give me the best u can

For guys wondering what medications to take,
I had my HT 2 weeks back and am on Finpecia since then and from last 1 week I even started applying TuGain hair oil (product from Cipla) that has 5% Minox. I am very happy to see improvements of hairs thickening. I dont know whether it's due to Finpecia or Minox.....and luckily no side effects noticed. FYI, In India, Finpecia costs around $1 for a strip of 10 tablets and TuGain costs around $7-$8 a bottle that lasts 1 month.

First of all I would like to thank each & everyone who are contributing in this forum with their valuable suggestions, experience. Thanks a lot....

I'm slowly losing my hair from past 6-7 yrs, but still somehow I'm managing to cover my baldness. Now I'm worried about that, from past 2 yrs, I loosing so much of my hair in front side and middle of the scalp.

1 yr back I met Dr. Ashok Reddy, Hyderbad and he suggested to go for HT (Quoted 35k that time) and prescribed "Finax/Day" and Nizrol shampoo. I used it for 3 months and stopped. Observed not much growth with that and even lost more hair/formed dandruff with Nizrol <I'm not sure whether it has happened with medicine>.

Then..recently (07/Jun/08) I met Dr. Puli Ravindra Reddy, Hyderabd and he also suggested to go for HT (Quoted 40k), but the problem with operation dates.

He I'm worried about that, my marriage got fixed in this yr end, I would like go for HT around mid of August month.
My question is, How many months it will take to re-growth completely and looks normally after HT operation? <I can rate my case out of 5 is 2-2.5 of baldness>. Based on that I will plan for my marriage dates?????*.

Could anyone please suggest me?
And please suggest one preferable doctor in Hyderabad. I heard recently one more HT specialist Dr.Kavuri Madhu, Hyderabad also opened a clinic near Jubilee hills (Police station) with latest technology.
But I don't have much date about him, can anyone please provide more data about him also?

I recently met one of my friend who has got HT done by Ravindra Reddy , and it seems to be very good and convincing in the front. But it is 3 months he has done and the void donor area is still visible. Do you think 3 more months or something it will be fully covered or there will always be a cut behind showing on the head which is clearly noticible ?

One more question that i have is, my friend said he has done 3000 follicules , does it mean 3000 grafts or 3000 hairs in all. the results seem to be looking good to me and motivating to take up HT

There is over 100 hair tranplant surgeon in india but it's hard to find a good one at this moment. Try dr.humayun from pakistan. heard he is good

Dr Madhu seems to be the best so far...his patient results at his web site is very einspiring...dont know the real thing though

Recently I have seen Hair4u which seem to have beter composition compared to Tugain Mintop. Incase you have any more info, please respond back with your inputs
