Hello all,

I am a 24yo male and was recently diagnosed with MPB by Dr. Khubba in Delhi this summer. I just wanted to run what the doctor prescribed because I'm just not sure about side effects, how well these things work, etc.

1. Finax 1mg - 1 tablet daily after breakfast

2. Mintop Forte Lotion - 1-2ml daily on crown of head

3. Dandrid Lotion - apply on scalp once weekly 15 minutes before shower

Finax is generic finasteride and 1mg is the recommended dosage so that is recommended.

I am not however, familiar with Mintop Forte Lotion and Dandrid Lotion.

Finasteride and Minoxodil (found in Rogaine) are the two best lines of defense against future hair loss and might even regrow hair. Use of Nizoral or Revita shampoo containing ketoconazole might be a good adjunct treatment due to it's weak anti-DHT properties.
