I have been looking for more info on Dr.McClellan.I have seen some of his results and was impressed enough when I met him to sign up to have surgery on the 28th.He has done over 10,000 transplants and the past 10 years has performed well over 3000 Microscopic Follicular Unit Hair Transplants. He was also mentioned in the Hair Transplant Network. But on this forum I seen his name mentioned only once, and nothing else said.

Hi, Scooter. I just did a search for Dr. McClellan, and these results. (You can just use the "find" feature and get the same.) I have yet to see a single poster who shows pictures of his work, but I did see one poster dissatisfied with his hairline work. Pat seems to have heard very good things about him.

Scooter,
I believe that Dr.McClellan now works for the Hair Club organization performing hair transplantation. Dr. McClellan did work for many years for the New Hair Institute (NHI) and trained with Dr. Bill Rassman. A few years ago when he was with NHI he was recommended on the Hair Transplant Network. However, there have not been much actual patient feedback about him on this forum. I suspect that his work may indeed be very good since he did train with one of the best and has loads of experience. However, I can't confirm this. To Hair Clubs credit, they have had the good sense to recruit some top hair transplant surgeons like McClellan - unlike other national groups that have hired newbie doctors to train in their "apprenticeship program" (i.e. farm league). Best wishes with who ever you choose - Pat
