I had a hair transplant by Dr. Beehner about 7-8 years ago. It was a very positive and successful experience. There isn't a morning I get up that I don't look in the mirror and feel good about the nice head of hair I have. Getting a hair transplant is a very personal and one should be very concerned about who to go to. I would recommend Dr. Beehner without reservation.

Though I agree that based on the above information and pictures that Dr. Beehner has the ability to produce quality results, 7-8 years ago was a long time ago in the world of hair transplantation and has come a long way since those days.

--i had my fifth transplant with dr beehner in april of this year--i have the utmost respect for he and his staff--obviously--or i wouldnt have gone back five times--my head has gone from shiney bald ,(,where i was getting weekly comments) --to a great head of hair --it is the greatest thing ive ever done for myself.!!
my original research began at this site--and i researched carefuuly for 1 year--(thanks pat--this site gave me the courage)--i then ended up deciding amongst several drs and decided on dr beehner. My first surgery was filled with anxiety--but was a great experience--i never experienced any pain--the next 4 surgeries were great--felt like a day of rest for me---and the excitement of seeing new hair was awesome

Hello Again all,

I was asked to post pics of my results with Dr. Beehner. I made an album of 4 pics in the album section of the forum for anyone who is interested. It should be noted that all the hair on the top and front is transplanted. The hairline looks realistic and my hair looks full. Once again, I am extremely pleased with Dr. Beehner and his wonderful staff. I recommend him highly!!!

PS - The pics were taken in July, 2007. They are the results of my 3 HT's with Dr. Beehner. I put the only pre HT pic I could find in there also. The hair in the pre HT pic in the clip is pretty much gone and all the other pics show the transplanted hair in its place. I also gave a shot of my temple area that Dr. Beehner did as well. I've had five transplants with Dr. Beehner and am very pleased with the results. My hairline looks exceptionally natural and of the highest quality. Dr. Beehner did a great job each time and although I am 55 I look 30 years younger. I give Dr. Beehner my highest recommendations and urge anyone considering the procedure to see him.

I had a transplant a couple of years ago by Dr.Beehner. From the time I walked into the office everything was first class. Dr. Beehner and his staff were kind and professional. the procdure was smooth, explanations and instructons re the procedure and post operative care were thorough and concise. I had almost no discomfort after the surgerey and, without getting up close, it was hard for friends and co-workers to tell I had even had a transplant done. Now I have the head of hair I had many years ago and it looks very natural. I would recommend Dr. Beehner without reservation.

I just wanted to add one clarifying comment about our donor harvesting methods. The one photo stated that we don't go beyond 1.5cm width in taking our donor scars. It is actually 1.3cm (or 13mm) that we don't exceed, and that limit only is reached on a first timer. The maximum width limit becomes smaller (usually 10-12mm) at a second or third session. The only exception would be woman in whom the only good donor hair is on the rear occipital wall and none of the side hair can be used. In such cases we will "stretch" ourselves a little and take as wide as we can of the "good stuff, " sometimes reaching 1.5-1.6 cm, and then undermine if necessary to get the wound closed without tension.
Another important point is that those limits ONLY apply to the rear, flat occipital area. As soon as the parietal corner is reached, where the plane of the head starts to turn, we always narrow our donor harvest by around 0.2cm, making it that much narrower than the rear. This is because it is easier to end up with donor scar stretching at the "corner" and on the sides of the head.

Dr Beehner and is office staff are the best ...I spent lots of time researching the surgury prior to having it done. Dr. Beehner spent lots of time talking to me about what I wanted as and end result and did a great job explaining the entire proceedure to both myself and my wife. The recovery time and process went exactly as we were told it would. The results were wonderful and actually better than what I had expected. It has been 5 years and my wife and I are amazed at the sucess we had with Dr. Beehner's clinic.
