This is a 46 year old gentleman who was scheduled for a 3300 follicular unit graft procedure. The actual number placed turned out to be 3425 grafts. The distribution was 410 single-hair follicles, 1895 2's, and 1120 3's.

A 20 gauge solid core needle was used to make the recipient sites for the single-hair follicles (which we used to create the hairline). The remaining follicles were placed into sites made with a 19 gauge needle.

Because of the small size of the needle we used for the 1's, we were able to graft the front 7-8 mm at roughly 45 grafts per centimeter. The rest of the scalp was placed at roughly 40 grafts/cm.

For this photo album, we have provided views from multiple angles of the patient before surgery, after recipient sites have been made, after grafts have been placed, and at the 7 day follow up appointment.

Dr. Ross,

I'm glad to see that you were finally able to get the photos posted. Nice work.

The surgical photos are clean and refined.

I look forward to seeing what this patient looks like when his hair grows in.

I look forward to seeing more of your results on our forum in the coming months.

Best wishes,

Bill
