hi guyz its azza here,
just letting you know that im booked for a 2nd trip to canada to have a touch up procedure with dr rahal. the focus would be to strenthen the existing hairline and make it somewhat more denser and shouldnt be no more than 1500 grafts. in my opinion, once this turns out well, it should be good enough to last 5-6 years (hopefully) before i look into getting the crown done. wish me luck az!

Azza,
Your hair already looks incredible in my opinion with no additional work currently needed. However, we all have different hair restoration goals. I know Dr. Rahal will do another terrific job for you. Keep us posted. Best wishes, Bill

thanks Bill for the compliment but me wanting another procedure is nothing to do with the so called 'hair greed' but rather to touch up on what needs being touched up.
as i mentioned, this will be a minor op focusing on a particular area to increase density a little. thanks

sorry, i have to disagree with Bill on this one. azza i would not have been happy with the density from that 1st ht and would definitely want to thicken up with a second ht. while ht #1 improved your situation by framing your face i don't think it gave you the illusion of density at all. i would try for more than 1500 grafts if possible and perhaps spread some of them towards the crown. best of luck with your procedure.

I thought the same thing you probably did when you read Bills post.
Maybe he made a mistake or didnt want Azza to feel bad ,but I would hate any newbie to think this is an incredible result. I know the top 5 thing is kind of silly but after hearing Dr Rahal is charging him ANYTHING for this next procedure shows me hes all about the money. Thats terrible aftercare!! Dr Rahal has been replaced with Dr Alexander in my fav 5. He gets an A for greed a B for his past work a D for his compassion and an big fat F for accountability. |

PGP, don't be too quick to judge. just to clarify, that azza is not being charged for the touch up surgery.
we have been in constant contact with azza and we are taking care of him as we would with any other patient that needs our attention.

adrian, i don't hold any disdain for dr. rahal and feel like he's doing quality work, but i do think this is not one such example. also, a touch up, imo, would be a few hundred grafts to perhaps fill-in a thin spot.
