This patient was in his mid 30's with straight brown hair and a Norwood Class 4 pattern. These are his results after one procedure of 2336 grafts by Dr. Jae Pak at the New Hair Institute in Los Angeles CA.

Do you have any more information, such as how long this is from surgery? One year?
It's a good change for this man, who obviously had some balding issues. It would take a lot of grafts to completely fill that in. It looks like he could have used 4,000 or more. Nevertheless, he looks 1,000 times better.

I think the result looks pretty good for the amount of grafts used. The guy definitely has a new and improved look going on.
Dr. Pak: Since Jon from the Jon & Kate show had work done with you, maybe you can post his results sometime. |

These photos show his results a little more than a year after the surgery. As you can see from the before and after photos, he now has a natural and youthful looking hairline. Thanks, -New Hair Institute |

NewHair,
Thanks for posting some examples of Dr. Pak's work. I think the results look good from what I can see. However, to get a better overall picture, I'd encourage you to present photos from the top/down angle also. I encourage you also to present examples of Dr. Rassman's work. Best wishes, Bill

Though it's a definite improvement, perhaps due to the color of his hair and contrast to skin tone, it appears less than striking. Perhaps he should dye his hair a lighter color, I believe this will improve the perception of his hair loss.

I don't know Dr. Pak or his associates, but this is a good result. John S is right that the skin/hair color issue makes it less impressive than say an indian with darker skin and dark hair. Also, that asian hair is like an arbor vitae tree, commonly found in yards here in the DC area. It takes a lot of those for the same coverage that a few willow trees provide. We are working with a black man today, and his VERY curly hair is like a full grown willow tree. He will get great coverage with a lot few hairs. But it sure is alot harder on the staff.
Everyone has tradeoffs, this is a nice result. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA
