Many patients have had the old style mini/micrografting. When performed correctly this procedure can be very satisfactory. Performed incorrectly, like placing the grafts ver far apart will result in what this patient had to deal with for years.
We repaired the "stalkiness" by simply dense packing 2000 grafts just behind his old micrografted hairline using ultra-refined techniques of true follicular units and lateral slit:
