Scar treatment with Acell

Scar treatment with Acell
Before and immediately after...

41 year old male with numerous previous surgeries and scarring as a result.
Scar was excised, wound was rinsed with saline, acell powder was generously applied to the exposed tissue. Two layers of Acell Wound Sheets were applied over the powder and the sheets were held in place with 5-0 gut.
The patient will give me updates daily and take pictures as it heals.
We will be providing regular updates to the blog,
Dr. Robert Jones

this is IMPORTANT, in terms of scar healing, im putting alot of faith in this stuff... i know its risky but from what ive read, seen and been told this stuff has GREAT healing potential.... this stuff could be a HUGE advancement in the HT field, if the healing is as good as ACELL thinks it will be, it may render FUE usless in large sessions! IMO.. no need since its proven STRIP has a better growth yield anyway.... i hope this stuff is as good as advertised for healing

john36, Ask Dr. Lindsey if he's ever heard about it. If he hasnt then I would wait to see how it works on other patients 1st.

why are we even discussing this?

dr. Jones: you are having ONE patient treated with Acell and the end result will be out in at least 6 months. Do you have other patients treated with this?

It is unfortunate as this raises hope for HT patients with wide scars, based on nothing.
