I was Cooleyfied on 8/30/06 with 3507 grafts and am very pleased with his skill and staff. I was in the chair from 7am to 11pm where Dr. Cooley drove me to my hotel himself when it was all done. I will gladly see him again for all of my dermatology needs in the future and am very excited to see the results in the next few months. Enjoy.

Donor Density: 80-100/Fu/cm2
Donor Laxity: good
Donor Length: 32 cm

Grafts:
FU Total#
1's 1108
2's 1744
3's 580
4's 75

Total 3507

Background:
30 years old
Diffuse NW5
Thinning since 21
Placement of grafts was considered for future loss
No work to crown
Researching HT's for the last 5 years
Consulted with many other Dr's and chose Dr. Cooley

Other:

Coolefied,

Congratulations on getting "Coolefied". I guesss Dr. Cooley is getting popular enough to become a verb.

Your results are very impressive and refined - true cutting edge Ultra Refined work. I also appreciate you presenting a detailed break down of the number of hairs in each our your grafts. After all, what ultimately counts is how many hairs are moved - not grafts.

As more and more savy patients online are coming to realize - not all clinic's follicular unit grafts contain the same average number of hairs. Thus counting the total amount of hairs transplanted rather than grafts gives a much more accurate representation of the acutal cosmetic value of the session.

The donor strip measurements are also useful.

I encourage all patients and physicians to follow the above example so that we can compare apples to apples.

I look forward to seeing your progress. Please feel free to document your progress by creating a free Hair Loss Weblog on our site.

Best wishes for a bumper crop.

Pat

Coolified, how did you get all the info? Did Dr. Cooley supply you with all the details? I guess I ask the obvious, but can you explain how you got the data?

thx,

I had to get Dr. Cooley in a headlock but he soon gave up the data, lol.

Naaa, I just politiely asked Dr. Cooley during the procedure if he wouldn't mind giving me the FU breakdown and count. He was also nice enough to give me the Donor Stats as well.
