It looks a little thin . Maybe you should go see Armani . He could put 3500 fue in your hairline to soften in it up

I thought that too - but maybe 4500 just to bulk it up and lower hairline a tiny bit

Spex,
You boys in the UK really produce some great results. As aggressive and controversial Dr. Feller is when it comes him posting on this forum, I don't care what anyone says he is one of the best in the world. Great results once again. Same old story once again, but with just a different person each time..... wait a minute thats the point Don't stop whatever you guys are doing....

Yeah then after only 2000 of those grafts grow you can fly out to Cali and have Dr BHT extract 1000 ball hairs and create a widows peak.
It will only cost between 40 -50 grand for both procedures combined.

The guy above is me Arrie.

Appreciate the words - Try not mistake aggression for passion - If only more Dr's were more interactive and passionate on the forums, sharing information and opinion - the public would be a GREAT deal more educated on the subject of HT.

Spex,

Your FUE looks great!
I guess only one doctor can do FUE? Lol.

Your case is exactly why IMO strip's day has come and gone.

Why would anyone want scars on their head when they could get a result like yours with FUE?

The yield looks fine to me.

How much does Dr. Feller charge for FUE?
IMO, he should abandon strip for the good of the patient (except maybe in rare cases).

No brainer and the right thing to do, IMO ("do no harm" and all that).

I'll bet you are thrilled to have gone with FUE.

And you should be.

Congrats.

P.S. Please Grow Please, why so rude? My BHT repair of 1000 leg grafts were $5.00 per graft (allowing full face pictures and video to be used.) Priceless. Where are you coming from with such juvenile comments? The good doc in Cali has repaired guys that had nowhere to turn. Did you even have an HT yourself? I don't see any pictures or links to your case in your sig.

sofarsogood, i had 2 strip surgeries and am fine with both the scars. i got an ht so that i wouldn't have to shave my head anymore. and, btw, even when i was buzzing down to a #3 guard the scar was undetectable. bottom line: if i could get a larger number of grafts with a higher yield via strip at a fraction of the cost of fue, then that's what i'm gonna go for.

and that doesn't mean i think fue is pointless. i would definitely turn to it for smaller sessions (temples/fill-ins) or when my strip donor is tapped out.

Hi Hairthere,

FYI, I had 16 strip surgeries throughout the 1990s and was mostly very happy until the scars stretched and I lost some more hair. If you or I recede to a NW7, we are in deep doo doo.

If your scar(s) stretch, buzzing to #3 or less might be problematic.

One or two clinics offer FUE (with good results) at near strip prices these days.

Are you telling me that if you could get your same result with FUE for the same price (or a little more) you would want to strip again just to save a buck?

IMO, that day is here.

All things being equal, who would want to go through with strip surgery if FUE could do the job for a comparable price?

That's all I'm saying.

I'm very happy you are happy with your result.

Hoping our happiness lasts for the next 10-20 years and beyond.

Ciao.
