This post is for the ladies...
Female patients who experience hairloss tend not to be as good a candidate for HT compared to men due to their tendency to lose hair diffusely rather than in discrete patterns. The result is that most ethical HT doctors will perform far fewer HTs on women compared to men.

And then there is this patient. She came to me about a year ago with loss along the left part area and the front hairline. Her hairloss had been stable at that point so we went ahead with a "fill in procedure" of about 1,200 grafts in just one sitting.
Here are her after photos

Now see? This is exactly what I am talking about, Doc!

Willingness to show all types of patients is IMPERATIVE for education and progress.

Here we see 1200 grafts strategically placed to provide an APPRECIABLE cosmetic improvement.

Some might ask, "Why not do a larger session?"

Most women who lose hair may lose their hair in irregular patterns, so a constant donor source can be problem in the future.

Anyway, thanks again Dr. Feller, looks quite good and natural----

BTW, the topic title should catch everyone on the boards today LOL

Dr. Feller.

Superb work. I thik a 1200 graft session made perfect sense in this case. Megasessions certainly have their place and I'm thankful for the vast improvement in this...however, it might be mistaken by some that megasessions are imperative for all situations...this is a strong case to prove otherwise. Not to mention, a hope it gives for ladies as well

Thanks B.
Dandare,
It's rare to find a female patient who doesn't mind showing her face. I offered to block out her identity but she said she didn't mind sharing the "entire look". She felt if it could help other people it would be worth it. She is pretty gal though isn't she?
I don't think your wife would mind. Or would she?

LOL....yeah, she's a pretty lady. A bit old for me though . I'm certain MY wife wouldn't get jealous of me saying that, since we have a pretty open relationship. A significant improvement from the before/after pics.

Congrats Dr. Feller!

Wow...amazingly subtle! Looks as if she had zero shockloss...or if she did, it was completely temporary. Nice!
