fight. I have a bald spot where some guy pulled out a chunk of my hair in a fight. It has been aprox. 5+ weeks ago and there is still very little growth. I can do a comb over an conceal it for the most part, but would like to know more about toppik or other concealers until (hopefully) my hair grows back. The balk spot is about the size of a small thumb aprox. an inch back from the front of my hairline. While on the subject, do you guys know how long it takes for regrowth in this situation? Any pointers? Should I see a dermatologist, etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

Healthy hair on average grows at about a half an inch on a monthly basis.
If the hair was pulled out along with the roots then i would imagine trauma would have taken place to the area involved.
A period of healing would need to take place before any growth would resume.
I think you would be best advised to see a dermatologist to dispel any worries you may have.
