Avodart has potential side effects just like Propecia does. I have talked with someone recently who did experience side effects and I wrote a Hair Loss Q&A Blog about it: Avodart Side Effects - What Should I Do? Hope this helps, Bill

Avodart (Dutasteride) is a lot like a super-strong version of Finasteride, at least in the pharmaceutical sense.
It's not exactly the same thing but it's very similar. I've heard that the side effects are often more severe than with Fin. --------------------------------------------------

Is Avodart the same as propecia, as in when start taking it would i lose a lot more hair before it starts to work. like propecia does ?
