These are from my phone so the pics are terrible.

Can any of you guys give me a ballpark on how many transplants I'm looking at?

I was wondering if you guys could give me a ballpark as to how many HTs you think I need. I have my apointment Monday with Dr. Shapiro's office, but I was just curious.

I dunno...I have no way of really knowing...but taking a pretty wild guess..I'd say 3,500-4,000?

DR. Evil,

As for why no one has told you that you are bald, the reason seems clear enough to me.... YOU AREN"T BALD! You look about NW 3 I'd guess. I don't consider that to be "bald".

I'm not even close to being an expert, but my guess is that you just need some density. Your pattern looks just slightly thin from front to back of crown.

I would *guess" that you would do well with around 2000, which would save some donor hair for the future when your pattern becomes more remarkable. You might also look to getting on Propecia now, if you haven't already. It has worked well to keep my current hair from falling out.

On a side note, I think you could see really good results from using Dermmark or Toppik concealers. These concealers have come a long way from the old "Ronco" hairspray commercials.

Good Luck!
