30 Year old male, Grade 5A on the Norwood Scale. He had surgery for 2,000 grafts in February of 2008. These are pre operative pictures, Incision pictures, Immediate Post Operative pictures and one year follow up pictures.

Looks good for 2000 grafts. The after shots seem like they were taken from across the street. Need a closer shot of the results, please.

I agree that the results looks good from what we can see. But if you have higher resolution copies of these photos, it would make it easier for our members to see the quality of the result.

Are you resizing your images before you post them? If so, it appears you're shrinking them a little too small.

Dr. Meshkin,

1. what was the limiting factor for only 2K grafts for such a huge bald area?
2. why there is no top down pic with grown hair while there are top down pics in both pre-op and right after post-op sets?
3. why only 4 pictures in 1 year post-op? shouldn't those be the money shots or cream of the crop so to speak?

nonetheless thank you for presenting you work to us but we also appreciate consistency too and i hope you post few more 1 year post-op photos for this case.

The patient had a limited donor area and very tight scalp. we decided to do 2 smaller sessions of 2000 grafts each as oppose to one big session. These pictures are from one session, he wants to wait a couple of years and do the second session then. Usually if the patients' preference is to do two smaller sessions then that is what I do. I just added a few more pictures and had the after pictures enlarged.

12/02-08 - 2764 grafts - Dr. Devroye - good result but needs hairline density
