Hello!

I am 18years old male (sorry my English is quite bad),I had never taken a mirror to the back of my head before, but one day I saw a picture taken behind my back and then I saw a bold spot(or?) on my head. Can you please look at these pictures and tell me what it is, are there 2 "Cowlicks" or is a bold spot.
Is there any miniaturization? And how can I tell a difference between miniaturization hair and normal hair?

I think here are two "cowlicks":

it looks like this when I "mix" them up:

And then (this was my longest hair):

And when I had hair like that, somebody told me that I have bold spot and so on...

Some old photos (3,5 years ago) when I had longer hair

My hairdresser keeps telling me that I dont have bolt spot and wont have it for years, but I just cant believe coz its very strange
What do you think?

Bolderor,

Welcome to our discussion forum.

Honestly, by the pictures, it does appear that you may be experiencing early signs of male pattern baldness. Overall density appears thinner in the crown and surrounding areas. As for signs of miniaturization, if you're experiencing male pattern baldness, I'm sure signs are present. However, it's really hard to tell by the photos.

In my opinon, consult with a dermatologist who can observe your scalp under magnification. This will be a surefire way to see if there are signs of miniaturization.

All the Best,

Bill
