Is strip down to $2 dollars a graft for most surgeons?

Great work, Dr. Feller!

Is $2/graft your regular fee for strip now?

Dr. Fellar;

Respectfully these picture LOOK good. Since you are in agreement with the new rules I find it only appropiate that you set a good example as well. Not only you posted your price but also a so called link to your website.

Pats rules says;

quote:
No links to outside web sites will be permitted on these "Hair Mentor" pages either.
... Removing the ability for posters to divert visitors to outside websites with outside agendas will diminish the commercial value of posting on this community.

Those currently using signatures with promotional copy and or links to outside sites are requested to now remove them.
You said;

quote:
Let me make it clear that Pat never discussed his decision with me prior to making these changes, and I in no way expressed my thoughts on this issue to him, but I do agree and support him.

I realize that these forums can be a marketing tool for me, but that is not my primary interest. When I first started posting I had NO idea how many people read them and how much business I would get from participating. I did it because I like to share my experiences and thought it was neat that I could actually post photos of my patients.
I understand that this could not be considered a outside link but I feel that you are stretching the rules abit. If so everyone might show there pictures with writing about how to get on their wesite.
If your primary interest is not marketing then why are you putting the price on the pictures??

Rules are made for all of us to follow..

Without no disrespect.

Lorenzo

Lorenzo,

You are right to point out that EVERY one needs to abide by the rules. Dr. Feller's post did read like an adv. I took out his pricing info and ad copy/contact info/ link to his site. He now simply has a link to his recommendation page.

I expect Alan and all physicians posting to do like wise in the future. No billboards please.

Pat

Lorenzo,
You are 100% correct. My future posts will not contain any "advertising" text.

Dr. Fellar; Please understand that my comments above were in no way meant to disrespect you and your valued participation in this forum. I understand after rereading it that it might have sounded that way. I just wanted to reassure you that it was not the case.
Another thing congrads on the 50% growth in scar tissue that is something that will be very helpful to many patients that experienced the same problems as ballonman.

Don't worry about it Lorenzo. No problem.
FUE has a long way to go, but the yield in Ballonman's scar was certainly a good start. The next step is to make it available to everyone for about the same price as strip. This time is coming, and it is closer than most may think.

Dr Feller

Do I understand this correctly that these procedures at your office are $2 per graft so 3000 grafts would be $6000.00

I am in New England and travel quite a bit to NY and considering a second HT.

Thanks
