This young man requested conservative frontal hairline density enhancement. He presented with a history of being on Propecia and reported good stabilization and cessation of shedding. The patient was keenly aware of the potential for future thinning and the implications of finite donor availability. He desired to keep his hairline within the preoperative miniaturization zone. He had a career position that prevented him from shaving the scalp and was very concerned about the risk of shockloss and detectability. He is 10 months postop following placement of a total of 1750 grafts in the frontal region.

That's a terrific result. The hairline is very appropriate and natural. I would have never guessed it was an HT. Good surgical planning imo.

Dr. Konior,

This is a very nice and age appropriate hairline reconstruction. And it gives him plenty of donor hair in the event of future hair loss.

I hope he also intends to consider using (or is using) Propecia to attempt to slow down/stop future loss.

Great job as always!

Bill

Dr Konior,
Yet a further example of your terrific work and excellent donor hair management.
