Dear Dr. Feller,

Thanks for showing your appreciation for my work on this patient!
Choosing the appropriate technique in a young patient is always an important decision to make. Based on my personal experience, I believe FUE procedures offer best alternatives for young patients, especially with Norwood types I-III.

The patient is coming for another check-up in about 3 weeks, I will then post the pictures showing his 9 month postoperative result.

Best regards,

Dr. B. Feriduni

I agree. I just had a young man from England visit for a consultation. He is 23 and very concerned about the thinning of his hair on an already high forehead. He wasn't sure if he wanted a strip or an FUE, but considering he looked pretty good when he shaved his hair down to a number 1 buzz cut, I decided the only procedure I would perform on him would be FUE. That would be the only ethical procedure to perform on such a young man with his type of loss in my opinion. FUE gives us choices that strip sometimes simply cannot.

I look forward to the follow up pictures on the patient you present in this thread. Also, check your private mail on this forum.

Thank you and continued success,
Dr. Feller

Dr. Feriduni,

It's great to see some of your quality FUE work in addition to your stellar strip surgery.

The donor area has healed nicely and the patient has excellent growth so far at 4 months.

I hope you'll post the final results after they grow in.

Best wishes,

Bill
