I haven't been able to find a post containing a price list comparing different physicians who are recommended on Hair Transplant Network.com (Ultra-refined & traditional follicular unit grafting).

Has anyone already done this leg work? Although results will vary, it would be nice to see a per follicle price list breakdown.

In these economic times, prices may also have recently dropped. I can start with one group that I've encountered - Ron Shapiro $4.50/ea, Paul Shapiro $4.00/ea. for 2K and under.

I'm esp. interested in overseas quotes - Thailand, Brazil, Pakistan, Turkey, UK, etc... to see some variety. Thanks!

On 03/18/2008 I had 3000 moved for $3800. I paid with a credit card. If I had financed it would have been $4200. They are not part of this network but Dr. Markou is awesome. This is my 2nd HT with this clinic: The Hair and Scalp Clinic in Clearwater, FL - http://newhairlaser.com/

Anyone from here checked this clinic out? Laser Hair transplantation? And for $3,000?

From the site, he claims nape hair is impervious to DHT, and noticed the techs not using any loupes when implanting or microscopes when disecting.

I did my surgery with Ross in San Diego. At the time I did little background research, but since then i have been reading a lot about hair loss and surgey in various forums.

Sounds like I got lucky because i am very happy with my results, and apparently there are a lot of doctors doing this that suck.

My surgery was 3 years or so ago, and i paid $3 per graft for 2700 grafts. no other costs. i reread his website and it still says $3 per graft, which seems lower than other recommended people on this forum.

That being said, I'm going to Ross again because I want to finish my hair loss for good (all my grafts were toward the front, and the scant hairs i had there 3 years ago have pretty much all perished at the hands of DHT). Happy with the first time, and apparently paying $8 grand is a really good deal for 2700 grafts when somebody whose good is doing the work (of course $8000 in my reality is like 2 or 3 months of working, so it ain't cheap).

I need to get in touch again to make sure the price is the same, and then start saving some cash. it will be nice to put this hair loss curse behind me, but I still have to wait a bit because I don't make Jack.

The Blackrock clinic in Ireland is 8.50 Euro( 11.8 US $)per craft and thats after they recently dropped their prices, but suprisingly according to their website finasteride is really cheap, 100 Euro per year.

2,700 grafts for $7,000 cash who is on the recommended list on the Hair Transplant Network.com

This was a struggle I went from $9,000 to $7,000 cash deal. Looks like these economic times cash is gold.
