Hi There,
I'm new to this, so bear with me. I'm a 27yr old guy from the UK. I used to be very athletic, but have stopped all sports due to loss of self confidence. I have tried Minoxidil for over a year (highest strength). not only was this costly, but I didn't see any difference. I have saved up ??3000. I hoped this would cover my first (of maybe 3) HT in the UK. I went for a consultation with the highly recommended Dr Bessam Farjo in Manchester, but was extremely disheartened to find that he said it would cost ??4500 for 1500 grafts in the first op on the front of my head. I would need another op on the front and a third op on the crown. Does ??4500 for 1500 grafts seem about right? I thought this was very expensive. Also, can anyone recommend any surgeonsin the UK or europe? They seem to be in short supply in the UK. Thanks JBA. |
