This patient had a prior procedure performed elsewhere. The main problem was that the grafts were spread too far apart and as such really provided no cosmetically significant improvement. This was particularly so on the top and crown.
We performed one procedure of 2,500 + grafts to the top and front part of the crown. Here are his results at 18 months. We just finished a second procedure to fill in the back part of the crown and to thicken his hairline. We will post those photos as he visits us for follow ups. The gallery shows photos of him before, during, and 18 months after one procedure

Dr. Feller,
A very obvious improvement indeed. Stellar work as usual. Bill

Dr. Feller,
Bueno! From the photos, this guy's hair looks like mine...both in color and texture. Covering a wide area with such hair is definitely a challenge...great work! Benjamin P.S. My own hair is growing with a vengeance; I've been delinquent in posting photos... |

Thana,
Thanks. As you know, the beauty of hair is in the eye of the beholder. He has a light color hair and light color skin so he looks even fuller than he really is. Benefits of a low contrast hair/skin ratio. We already did his second procedure and we'll post the photos in the next few months. Azazel, They should take your post and put up as a banner right across the center of the HTN homepage. Absolutely true, you need way more follicles to make a crown look covered as compared to the frontal third or even half. This is because the frontal third is usually located on the horizontal plane and tends to be fairly narrow. Additionally, the hair can layer over itself helping the overall effect. The crown, in sharp contrast, lays in most cases mostly on the vertical plane and gets wider as you move forward. Hair layering is much more difficult and the amount of real-estate to cover is huge. Bill, thanks for the kudos. Ben, Hola! How are things out in the peninusla of Spain? The weather? Thanks for the kind words. His hair was a bit thicker in caliber than yours, and the area to fill smaller, but you are right that your color and texture are very similar which gives you both a visual advantage. Look forwared to your pictures when you get the chance Ben. Hasta la vista. Dr. F
