I'm 5 days away from my HT with Dr. Hasson, and was wondering if anyone could recommend what kind of shampoo i should use for the first few weeks after my procedure. Thanks!

Baby shampoo is what most clinics recommend - I used it until 1 month post op.

I just had my ht HT at Shapiro Medical Group and they told me not to use baby shampoo. They said it contained chemicals that helped it not to cause tears. They recomended any normal shampoo with no conditioners or volumizers. I used normal Panteen.

Dr. Hasson actually gave me shampoo called CliniDerm. It has no chemicals in it whatsoever and it smells pretty good. I doubt you'll be able to buy this shampoo in stores

Joe told me (after Customs seized my shampoo) that any shampoo is fine, but don't use conditioner.
