Omagic,
I would avoid wearing a beanie as they're generally too constrictive. There are various opinions on the time it takes for the grafts to become fully secure. The only study I have read placed it at 9 days for the grafts to become fully secure - even after the 9 days, I would be worried about wearing a beanie. I don't think the conditions under a hot, snug beanie will help when it comes to healing in general.`(just my opinion) |

Ive got a few beanies and they are all less resricting than a baseball cap, they are also softer with no hard edges, and you wont look like a kid serving a asbo order.

Omagic,
Though you are probably fine at 7 days to wear a regular baseball cap and/or beanie, I usually like to wait until 9 or 10 days to be on the safe size. I usually wear a lose fitting hat and/or bandana up to that point without any problems. Best wishes, Bill

As mentioned IMO you'll be fine wearing a beanie. I wore one from 5 fays post op(light weight cotton number) and also played rugby seven days post op my FUE surgery. My HT turned out ok.
