Young man with IVA hair loss pattern. Prescribed finasteride and underwent 2,013 grafts (3971 hairs) to the frontal third. Results were especially good because of the patient's naturally curly hair. Recipient sites were all lateral slits with custom made blades between 0.7 and 1.05 mm. The scar on the forehead serves as a landmark to compare the old and new hairlines.
