Hi All,

I have heard that shampooing everyday can dry your hairs and damage them. Will it be a good idea to use moisturing shampoo as well? I mean besides Nizoral. Which one to use? And, can we use both Nizoral followed by moisturizer or use it on the remaining days of the week you do not use Nizoral?

Lion's destiny,

I don't recomment using Nizoral more than 3 times a week, maybe even only 2.

Revita also contains 1% ketoconazole (same as Nizoral regular) and keeps my hair healthy looking and moist.

I do feel however, it's good to switch shampoos every now and then however. Nioxin makes a pretty nice shampoo and conditioner.

Best wishes,

Bill

Thanks!
I have Nizoral 1% as well. Can't I use it everyday in that case?

If you have Nizoral and a moisturising alternative why don't ou just alternate them between days instead of using them one after the other?

It might just be me that doesn't have the patience to shampoo twice, but it does feel like a waste of time!
