This patient approached Dr. Wong with the goal of achieving as much coverage as possible in one session. His donor area characteristics presented an opportunity to perform a larger than average session where 5698 grafts were taken in one session.
The priority areas were the hairline and the top with any grafts left over going into the crown. The results shown are only eight months post-op. Singles...930 Doubles...3376 3/4...1392

Jotronic.....amazing change with just one session and he'll probably see futher cosmetic change over the next few months....he seems to be a good candidate for propecia, is that part of his regimen?
also would be curious to see how donor scar has developed at this point if you have a shot of it....... good stuff*

Joe,
Beautiful result. I also appreciate that you provided a hair count breakdown on this patient. I do encourage your clinic however, to separate and count the 3s and 4s separately in the future. Best wishes, Bill

Bill and PGP why are you guys so hung up on the type of grafts used. If I could get this result using all one hair grafts then that is what I would want. Why not leave the surgery up to the doc and you stop counting hairs. Remember you are not doctors. This is the finest hair transplant I have seen and would seek out doctors that get these results.
------ Note by Moderator: RSF and Dr. DeYarman share the same IP address. RSF was questioned on this but never answered. Thus, although technical anomalies occur (dynamic IP addresses, IP spoofing, etc), it's a possible conclusion that RSF is a representative of Dr. DeYarman. Due to his failure to adress the concerns of a shared IP address, he is no longer a member of this community. ------- |

rsf,
I agree that the result is exceptional however, you are missing the point. When clinics provide both graft and hair counts, it gives an overall picture of how much hair was moved from the donor to the balding areas. Though it's the end result that matters most, this information is helpful to patients. As the Associate Publisher of this community, it's my job to encourage all clincs to be as transparent as possible in all issues for the benefit of patients like you and the multitude of others regularly visiting our community. After speaking with Dr. Hasson last night, they will be separating the 3s and 4s and providing detailed hair counts. Kudos to them for responding to the call of this community and for taking transparency to an even higher level. Bill
