first of all hello to everyone.new to the forum.
my query is this.i was on propecia for 3 years then finpecia for a further 5 years with a complete cessation of my male pattern baldness.i've recently started taking dutas 0.5 every other day with similar results.with a very slight regrowth.i am happy with my meds so far.
i never experienced any shedding at all with any of my previous medications and as i wear my hair on a number 2 shave i'm worried that i will start shedding with minoxidil use(just started)
there seems to be around a 50% shedding chance with minox.
because i never shed with the other medications does it mean i won't shed with minox?
any views/opinions welcomed.

When I started using minoxidil before 3 months there was huge shedding for me. After applying minoxidil on my hands I could see 50 or 60 hairs. Now shedding stopped but no sign of regrow yet. Ass I know, shedding is very common with minoxidil usage, but id does not have to be that way. Sorry for my bad anglish,hope this helps.

shedding hair from minox will regrow back in 3 to 6 months, so i guess you shouldn't worry, at least that is what i heard, good luck
