This patient had what I call a "mild mohawk" look which he, naturally, wanted to rid himself of.
We implanted 1,500 grafts right into the hairline area to "flatten it out". By using a dense pack of single hair FUs (grafts) we were able to obtain a dense yet NATURAL look. The way we did this procedure was by numbing the back of the scalp and painlessly removing a thin sliver of skin containing hair roots. These hair roots were then dissected out of the skin under microscopes by an army of technicians and then reimplanted into the recipient area where they took root and grew. -Dr. Feller

Thank you D.
He is in his mid twenties and does not want to take medications to help prevent future hairloss, however he has booked in for a PRP treatment. -Dr. F

Bash77, This patient really didn't have that much to shave down as the area was predominately bald but i would have thought the doc will have slighly shaved the front edge (the overlap) and the terminal hairs that fell within the recipient area.
