1200 grafts 7 months post op crown

This patient had a great head of hair with the obvious exception of the crown. He had been able to comb over the excellent hair he had from the front over the crown to cover it, but over the years the crown baldness kept creeping ever larger. He decided to come in for a procedure.
Because of his age and excellent hair chracteristics I felt he was eligable for dense pack crown work. Even if his crown baldness continued to grow in the future I knew he would have an over abundance of hair to cover it. Ideal situation for an HT doctor, so we went forward.
I packed 1,200 true follicular units into the crown making sure to polarize the placement in such a way as to put the thickest area toward the front of the crown and the thinnest toward the back.
This layering technique worked and even at this early stage of only 7 months he has impressive coverage and is very happy. He's even happier to know that he has more thickening and growing to do over the next 7 months.
