I know about how rogaine is only supposed to work on the crown but why is that? Why can't rogaine work on the top and front of the head area? Should I try applying rogaine on the top and front or is it just a waist of rogaine should only use it for crown?

I apply some rogaine on my receding area. It could be psychological, but I could swear the process seems to halt any further loss. If you have a transplant, it is loss important to get the regions of native hair so that it won't fall off from the shock loss. [But you should wait 10 days after HT]

Rogaine can work in other areas of the scalp other than the crown. But since it's only been FDA approved for the crown, it can only be promoted and advertised that way.

My crown shows no loss, but I use it on the frontal area and temples. I have seen some improvement.

I've also noticed my body hair has increased slightly, but I was always rather hairless, so a slight increase is not really a problem.
