Blad414's ubelievable laxity of scalp allowed for three procedures in under a year. We changed the plan several times as we went along.
At the start the goal was to just do the front line so he could wear his hairpiece just behind it. Then, after realizing his extreme laxity of scalp, he had the option to cover the top as well. Even though his donor area was over-all on the low side, his laxity allowed for a much higher yield than otherwise expected. After I introduced FUE into the practice, he opted to spread the grafts from the second surgery onward out over a broader area of scalp, an option I am generally against (as I prefer to dense pack), but ultimately his way worked out well (he looks even better in real life). We just did an FUE yesterday on bald414 to fill in just behind the front hairline on the right side (approx 300 FUE grafts). We will post photos as they grow. Dr. Feller
