Eric,
Mine is tomorrow with Dr. E in Miami...
I really liked the pic and I think I did a good choice....
I am going to need about 2500 so I opted for Strip....
but can you let me know how much it cost you for FUE?
There is always time to change

MY OPINION:

Anything less than 2000 then dont bother with a strip. If you need more than 2000 then strip is the only way to go in my opinon due to superior yields, better more experienced Drs performing strip, less potential damage to donor area, speed in surgery, price per graft and price for the entire procedure in general.

I have always felt that a big strip should be the first choice for people needing or "going" to be needing alot of grafts. If you just want to fill in your temples or fix a scar then FUE is the right choice.

If you know you are going to be bald or are advanced already then dont waste time and do a strip and get it done in one shot and deal with top ups later on with FUE.

I agree somewhat with Balloonman's comments, however, I would say anything less than 1,000 fu for strip. The normal FUE is 500 fu and that takes most of the day-- 1,000 is a VERY LARGE single session not to mention expensive ($10 a graft)-- so 1,000+ I would say strip if viable.
