I shampoo daily without any problems. In fact, my hair gets too oily if I don't wash it daily. On the other hand, there are some who wash their hair every other day and sometimes longer. Race and hair type make a difference.
Shampooing daily however, won't cause or facilitate hair loss. Since Rogaine can make your hair and scalp extra oily, it's probably a good idea to wash your hair daily to cleanse them. Best wishes, Bill

Certainly having oil on your scalp would decrease minoxidil penetration, however I don't know whether a significant amount of oil would build up in 24hours to merit washing daily?
I do anyway, simply becuase my scalp gets itchy if I don't, and also I like being clean but refuse to wear a shower cap |
