Hello,

I was born with cleft lip on my upper lift and i would like to grow mustache over it. If possible I would like to find out where I can do such hair transplant.

Im currently in London, UK, but if necessary i can travel to USA or Canada. It is important that i get this surgery done properly.

What would be the approximate price for such transplantation?

This is a very minor procedure, but there isnt anyone that I would recommend in the UK for this. If you want something close to home I'd say BHR in Brussels and in the USA there are a lot of places, probably Dr Feller, Dr Shapiro, actually any of the good docs on here who perform fue.

This is an interesting topic. I did a very small strip case for this about a year ago on a fellow who never returned for suture removal. Its a shame as he had a scar amenable to transplantation and I really wanted to get a nice result for him.

I have posted elsewhere on this site that as part of a non-denominational religious mission, that I repaired around 50 cleft lips in El Salvador back in the 90s; so in addition to hair, I have a genuine interest in cleft work.

FUE would seem to offer a good option for a small case like this and we've posted several small FUEs in the last couple of months.
