This young patient lost hairs due to radiation treatment for cancer. Fortunately, he is free from cancer but the hairs never grew back. The recipient area is not shaved down in pre-op photos. The area is completely bare of any hairs.
Graft/Haircount: 1's - 390 2's - 908 3's - 347 4's - 30 1675 total grafts = 3367 hairs Here are his progression pictures:

Wow, this is truly one of those "feel good" stories after you read through to the end.
It's exciting to hear that this patient beat cancer, but I'm sure he found himself a little discouraged that not all his hair grew back. It's encouraging to see that hair restoration was able to restore has hair and help him look normal again. Thanks for posting this. Best wishes, Bill

I love hearing uplifting stories like this and being able to see what great doctors can do to restore a little piece of mind.
This guys 12-month results look incredible and I am sure he is super happy!! It's amazing what a little artistry can do. Great job Shapiro Medical!!!!

EXCELENT RESULT!
And its amazing how such a big area could be filled with such little number grafts, janna , can you tell how many grafts were used by cm/2? Its a great happy beggining(not ending) for this guy, not only he beatted an horror that life brings to some of us, but still wonned a great head of hair! Congrats!
