We worked with this fellow about a month ago. He had a reasonably tight scalp and we opted for 2500 grafts to address significant hairloss on his front at this time. He breezed through the case and enjoyed his one valium tablet all day....to the point where he taught us all a bunch of slang words in Hindu.
Although he had significant swelling on days 2 and 3, by a week he was fine and he stopped in for a scar check at 1 month. Interestingly, we had a new patient at the same time and the 2 fellows looked remarkably similar, even to the new patient's wife. That allowed the new patient to see what "he" would look like at a month. We did the second fellow Friday, I'll put up his pics after sutures are out to show the similarity. The only real difference is the second guy had a stretchy scalp and we got 3100 grafts. Dr. Lindsey McLean VA
