Dr. Quatela,
I'm usually not a huge fan of eyebrow transplants because I haven't seen too many that appear to mimic nature. However, this is probably one of the most impressive eyebrow cases I've ever seen. It looks very natural. Nice work! Bill

Dr. Quatela, do you happen to have more close-ups of the 7 month results? Also how long does it take for the hair to straighten out when performing eyebrow transplants. As in for the texture to become more normal?

We also take some steps to help achieve an optimal result. We take the donor hair from the lowest part of the back hairline where it tends to be a lot finer. Placement is critical and plays a major roll in how well the hair 'straightens out' or flows in the proper direction. We use the place and stick method which we believe provides greater control in the placement of the hairs. Patients do need to use some type of gel and we ask them to consistently rub them into the direction that they are placed to help train them. They're also told that they will need to trim the newly transplanted eyebrow hair frequently, as the hair grows at the same rate as the rest of the hair on the head. |
