Flutimide is some pretty heavy stuff, and can be dangerous for the liver. I'm seen photos of people having success with Fluridill, by that I mean maintenance, not regrowth.
Personally i'd be more interested in proxiphen or Spiro.

I am using Eucapil /Fluridil/ for about 4-5 years now. When I started it I was very happy with the result. I think it slowed down balding significantly. The number of hairs falling down daily became very low /maybe 20-30/. I didn't regrow thinning hair but rather preserved my own. This year though I noticed that my balding process is active again
