Firstly, we need to establish if your hairloss is from MPB.

If it is so then you have to begin medication, watching for negative side effects.

Hairloss due to psychological stress, or trauma/shock inflicted on your scalp from caustic hairstyling chemicals is another matter.

Retardation is slowing down or deccelaration.
