What were my sides? The "beginning" of gynecomastia (excess development of breast tissue). How long to subside? The pain, 3 weeks to a month after I stopped. The bit of excess in breast tissue: 6 months. I'm fit, not fat. The pectoral is now normal. *Note: Just stopping, and starting again, was completely useless... the problem came back right away.* I started finasteride again with a "gradual" dosage, which made all the difference. That's why I put the emphasis on "gradual", very low dosage, fewer times a week, and slowly going back to a normal and consistent dosage after a while. Quote:

hairhead!
I just realized you posted a similar question in another thread and that I answered already. Sorry, didn't mean to be redundant Anecdotal fact: I expressed endless worries to a HT doctor and then to a dermatologist before going on finasteride... they both were really really patient and listened to me. At one point, they stopped me, and just said: just take it. 6 years on the stuff and feelin' real good. |
